DASP-Lab System is the first implementation of the novel Digital Alias-free
Signal Processing technology which provides a means for fully digital proc
essing of GHz frequency signals. This technology is based on the exploitati
on of nonuniform sampling and special algorithms matched to these sampling
conditions. Implementation of the DASP technology in the hardware/software
system is described as well as the main algorithms used within the system.
Finally, a brief insight into the possibilities of the virtual instruments
implemented within the system is given. They are considered as application
examples of the DASP technology, which is now mature and ready for commerci
al exploitation in novel products.
