Abstract
Hypocalcemia can be devastating if unrecognized. Neuromuscular dysfunction occurs in severe cases. A review and an update on the topic may assist gene ral pediatricians. The authors provide a general overview of pathogenesis a nd management of hypocalcemia in children.
