Abstract
In coarse-textured soils, the formation of an anisotropic tessera (i.e., a regular variation in pH, humus content, and in the composition of the excha nge complex) around pine trees is observed in pine stands. Adding euonymus to pine plantations leads to an increase in the humus content and to a chan ge in the type of anisotropy.
