Abstract
The strong decays of mesons are studied in the framework of the P-3(0) mode l with a momentum-dependent vertex. The meson wave functions are obtained f rom quark-antiquark potentials including a finite quark size, instanton eff ects, spin-orbit and tenser-force effects. Several prescriptions for treati ng the decays into three mesons are proposed and analyzed. Comparison to ex perimental data is presented in detail.
