Abstract
In this paper, two generalized topologies of single-stage input-current-sha ping ((SICS)-I-2) circuits are derived: (SICS)-I-2 circuits with two-termin al ICS cells and (SICS)-I-2 circuits with three-terminal ICS cells, It is s hown that most of the recently published (SICS)-I-2 Circuits belong to eith er of the two generalized topologies, It is-also shown that the two general ized (SICS)-I-2 topologies are functionally equivalent. Based on the genera lized approach, a few new (SICS)-I-2 circuits are developed. Experimental r esults obtained on a selected pair of (SICS)-I-2 circuits with two-terminal and three-terminal ICS cells are also provided.
