Abstract
Every early intervention model is based on a set of principles that reflect s assumptions about how children develop and learn. Parent-child interactio n offers an especially powerful focus and context for early intervention by providing an opportunity to support thr experiences of tile two members of this interaction dyad. This article describes one model for enhancing deve lopmental opportunities for the child by expanding on and strengthening the parent-child relationship in a group environment.
