The problem of frequency measurement by an IFM receiver when there are
two or more simultaneous signals is considered. The problem is differ
ent from other frequency estimation problems considered in the literat
ure since the IFM receiver is an extremely wideband device and reliabl
e estimation is required for short pulse signals, A fast algorithm for
estimating the frequencies of all the simultaneous signals is propose
d. Computer simulations of the technique are compared with performance
analyses.
