Ma. Fernandez et al., Mechanism of Mg2+ transfer mediated by 1,10-phenanthroline across a water vertical bar 1,2-dichloroethane micro-interface, J ELEC CHEM, 505(1-2), 2001, pp. 165-169
Cyclic voltammetry at a water \ 1,2-dichloroethane micro-interface has been
carried out to elucidate the mechanism of Mg2+ transfer assisted by 1,10-p
henanthroline (phen). Micropipettes and microholes at polyester films were
used to support the interface. The effect of phen and Mg2+ concentrations,
pH, scan rate, and capillary radius were analyzed. The results indicated a
TIC-TID mechanism coupled to the direct transfer of the complex Mg(phen)(3)
(2+). (C) 2001 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
