Abstract
In view of the Characteristics of the low contrast and small dimension of t argets and the complexity of background in infrared image, a method of dete cting and describing infrared weak target was presented with improved K-L t ransform and generalized K-L transform. Thus the infrared weak target ran b e detected in low signal-to-noise ratio.
