Abstract
In literature, NMR chemical shifts of protons and silicon atoms in silanols have always been discussed with respect to the polarity of the solvents us ed. In this paper, chemical shift values of tetramethyldisiloxartediol M-2( OH) are presented with regard to their change in dependence on concentratio n in deuterated chloroform and on temperature. These values are compared to values found in solid state NMR spectroscopy. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B. V. All rights reserved.
