Abstract
This paper was prepared by the Committee on Research, Science and Therapy o f the American Academy of Periodontology for the information of the dental profession. However, it may also be of interest to the lay public. It repre sents the position of the American Academy of Periodontology regarding tiss ue banking and the use of bone allografts in periodontal therapy.
