Abstract
The time evolution of association number distribution of in micellar relaxa tion of diblock copolymers in dilute solutions is simulated for non-core/co rona micelles on the basis of Aniansson-Wall (A-W) Theory. Numerical result s of the calculations qualitatively reproduce the experimental findings for temperature (T) jumps from T away from the critical micellization temperat ure (cmt) to T closer to cmt and from T closer to cmt to T away from cmt, w here an under-shoot and an over-shoot are observed in the time evolution of average association number, respectively. The simulation can also qualitat ively describe the relaxation processes starting from non-equilibrium state s obtained in nonmonotonical micellization processes. It is concluded that the concept of A-W theory is valid for the micelle relaxation in non-core/c orona micelles as well as in ordinary core/corona micelles.
