Abstract
A novel rearrangement of quintet 2,6-dinitrenopyridine to 3-nitreno-1,2-dia zacycloheptatrienylidene was discovered by EPR spectro-scopy during the pho tolysis of 4-amino-2,6-diazido-3,5-dichloropyridine in a cryogenic matrix a t 77 K.
