Abstract
A floating attachment mode is presented here in order to improve the electr omagnetic analysis of wire antennas attached to arbitrary surfaces when usi ng the method of moments (MoM). This attachment mode overlaps the surface m odes, allowing us to place the wire-to-surface connection at any point, ind ependently of the surface mesh, even near or at geometrical discontinuities .
