Abstract
A few aspects of the explicitly covariant light-front dynamics are consider ed. The emphasis is put on both extra components in the wave functions and contact terms appearing in the formalism. Their contributions to the deuter on electromagnetic properties are presented. It is in particular shown how they allow one to recover contributions attributed to vacuum excitation in other approaches.
