Abstract
We consider global site percolation on a correlated bi-colored honeycomb la ttice. The correlated medium is constructed from an independently randomly bi-colored triangular lattice due to a state dependent constraint. The cons traint evokes short-range correlations and establishes a sim pie symmetry i n the random system, thereby significantly affecting the system's critical behavior. Particularly, there exist two phase transitions p(c) approximate to 0.2902 and q(c) approximate to 0.7097, these thresholds are shifted away from those expected in independent percolation. Values are in good agreeme nt with bounds analytically derived here. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. Al l rights reserved.
