Abstract
We show that the experimentally observed temperature dependence of the resi stivity anisotropy in overdoped Tl2Ba2CuO6 is in qualitative agreement with the predictions of the cold-spot model. However, the angular dependence of the c-axis normal state magnetoresistance in the same compound cannot be d escribed within the cold-spot model.
