The rotational spectrum of vinylstibine was recorded by pulsed-nozzle micro
wave Fourier transform spectroscopy between 5 and 40 GHz. (H2CCHSbH2)-C-12-
Sb-121, (H2CCHSbH2)-C-12-Sb-123, (H2CCHSbH2)-C-13-Sb-121 and (H2CCHSbH2)-C-
13-Sb-123 isotopic species were observed in natural abundance and frequenci
es of the lines were fitted to the Hamiltonian of Watson (A reduction, I-r
representation). Rotational and quartic centrifugal distortion constants an
d also quadrupole tensor elements and spin-rotation constants were derived
for each isotopic species. An r(s) substitution distance for the C-Sb bond
length was calculated as r(s(C-Sb))= 2.13(3) Angstrom.
