Abstract
Examination of the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institut ion, Aphidoidea Collection confirmed the presence of two species of Lachnin ae previously described by H. E Wilson. The types of one species were thoug ht to have been lost but have been rediscovered. Lectotypes and paralectoty pes are designated for Eulachnus thunbergii Wilson and Lachniella thunbergi i Wilson. Cinara thunbergii (Wilson) represents a new combination for Lachn iella thunbergii Wilson.
