Abstract
The Caribbean has the potential for a significant increase in windpowered e lectricity production. A number of wind farm projects are being implemented , making wind potentially the fastest growing renewable energy technology i n the region over the next two decades. Wind promises to provide more than 10 per cent of the electricity in many Caribbean countries by the year 2020 . (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
