The sorption and structural properties of mixed oxyhydrates of aluminum (si
licon), tin(IV), and phosphorus prepared by coprecipitation at constant pH
5.5 of aluminum and tin(IV) chlorides, and also active silicic acid and tin
(VI) chloride with phosphoric acid were studied using sorbates with varied
molecule size. The sorption isotherms of water and carbon tetrachloride vap
ors were determined as influenced by the Al : Sn and Si : Sn molar ratios a
nd sorbate type.
