Abstract
N-9-Polymethylene derivatives of adenine and hypoxanthine with various func tional groups in the omega -position of the alkyl substituent were synthesi zed. Their physicochemical properties and effect on the HIV reverse transcr iptase and DNA topoisomerase I were studied.
