Abstract
Coordination compounds of cobalt(II) and copper(II) chlorides with 3-phenyl -5,5-dimethyl-5,6-dihydro-1,2,4-triazolo[3,4-a] isoquinoline (L) were synth esized. Crystal structure of [CoL2Cl2] (I) was determined by X-ray crystall ography. The L ligand is coordinated to the cobalt atom through the nitroge n atom in the position 1 of the triazole fragment. The complexes were studi ed by IR and electronic spectroscopy.
