Abstract
The phase diagram of the system i-Am4NBr-H2O is studied in the crystallizat ion region of clathrate hydrates using different methods of investigation ( DTA, Schreinemakers's, solubility, preparative, and Alekseev's methods). Th ree polyhydrates with hydration numbers equal to 38 (T-m = 28.3 degreesC), 32 (29.5 degreesC) and 26 (30.3 degreesC) were found. Crystals of all compo unds were isolated, and the composition acid melting temperature of the cry stals determined. The effect of the anion on clathration in a series of tet raisoamylammonium halides is considered.
