Abstract
A Pd-catalyst with benzothiazole carbene as ligands allows, in tetrabutylam monium bromide melt as solvent, very fast and efficient reactions of bromoa romatics with 3-hydroxy-2-methylenealkanoates to give beta -arylketones. (C ) 2001 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
