Abstract
In this work, the generalized experience in the development of powerful(100 kW) frequency converters based on IGBT modules designed for feeding indust rial electron accelerators of the transformer type is presented. The proble ms related to the matching of the converter output with the primary winding of the high voltage transformer are considered and recommendations on the converter design are given.
