Abstract
We report on the construction and the characterization of a 30 TW lase r system working at 10 Hz. This Ti:sapphire based source produces 0.8 J, 30 fs pulses around 800 nm. Focused intensities over 5 x 10(19) W/c m(2) have been achieved.
