Abstract
We describe the development of a tunable diode-pumped Cr3+:LiSrAlF6 (C r:LiSAF) regenerative amplifier, seeded by a diode-pumped Cr:LiSAF fem tosecond oscillator. The amplifier produced pulses of less than 200 fs duration and greater than 1 mu J energy at repetition rates of up to 25 kHz.
