Abstract
An iron(II) complex with a lipophilic derivative of 2,2'-bipyridine was syn thesized and found to aggregate in aqueous solution, yielding vesicles with a mean diameter of 1000 nm; preliminary cyclic voltammetry experiments sho w that the complex forms redox-active films at the electrode surface.
