Abstract
The regio- and stereoselective toluene-p-sulfonyl-mediated radical cyclizat ion of bis(allenes) with p-TsBr and p-TsSePh was carried out in the presenc e of a catalytic amount of AIBN to afford the trans-fused five-membered rin g containing vinyl sulfones and bromide or selenide functionalities.
