Hw. Chen et al., Rapid determination of albumin of urine in Delta Iota measurement mode with portable spectrophotometer of high sensitivity, CHEM J CH U, 22(6), 2001, pp. 928-930
A portable spectrophotometer developed by Changchun R & D Center for Analyt
ical Instruments, which combines DeltaI measurement mode and a measurement
mode together with a high sensitivity, good accuracy and low cost , is empl
oyed to replace the traditional spectrophotometer and the sensitivity is en
hanced. Therefore, a new rapid method with low cost and simplicity in opera
tion for protein determination is developed. For this method, the linear ra
nge is shown to be 0-0, 74 mug/mL , the detection limit is 0.01 mug/mL, and
the analysis can be completed within 5 min. The albumin in urine is determ
ined and all the results are confirmed by the standard method. Because of t
he rapid analysis speed, less expenditure, more convenience and simplicity
in operation of this method, it is possible to use this method to diagnose
glycosuric nephropathy at an early stage, even do it at home.
