Abstract
Two unusual cases of pituitary cysts are described. Both patients presented with sudden onset of severe headache, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) demonstrated pituitary cysts, which regressed over months. Although the pr ecise etiology of the cysts was unproven, the cystic lesions in our patient s are thought to have shrunken after "pituitary apoplexy." (C) 2001 Elsevie r Science Inc.
