The ground state properties of light nuclei are investigated by the Skyrme-
Hartree-Fock approach with three sets of new force parameters SKI2, SKI3 an
d SKI4 [P.G. Reinhard and H. Flocard, Nucl. Phys. A584 (1995) 467]. Calcula
tions show that the Skyrme-Hartree-Fock theory with above force parameters
provides a good description on the light isotopes except for some neutron-h
alo nuclei Li-11, Be-14 and B-17. Among the three sets of force parameters,
SKI4, which has taken into consideration of the isospin dependence of the
spin-orbit force, is the best. one. Detailed comparison and analysis on the
results are given.
