Abstract
A wide variety of inhibitory and stimulatory NK cell receptors are expresse d by some CD8(+) cytotoxic T lymphocytes in mice and humans. Recent data ad dress the induction of these receptors on activated or memory CD8(+) T cell s and have led to hypotheses addressing their function in the CD8(+) T cell response.
