Abstract
High-spin levels in Xe-122 have been investigated by gamma-gamma coinc idence measurements using the EUROGAM array. The reaction Zr-96(Si-30, 4n)Xe-122 at a beam energy of 135 MeV was used. New structures of com peting dipole to quadrupole transitions have been observed. Experiment al B(M1)/B(E2) ratios have been extracted and compared with theoretica l estimates.
