Abstract
Chaos synchronization is a phenomenon in which two chaotic subsystems have equal states at each time step. In this paper, a design method is briefly d escribed for unknown input observers used in system theory. Next, a chaos c ommunication method based on design technique that achieves restoration of the information signals by chaos synchronization between a transmitter and a receiver is proposed. Further, with a view to improving the performance o f resisting noise, an improved method is proposed by introducing the least- squares method. The performance of the proposed communication method is tes ted by simulation. (C) 2001 Scripta Technica, Electron Comm Jpn Pt 3, 84(12 ): 21-27, 2001.
