L-monocytogenes detection in milk by PCR and DNA analysis by restriction enzymes

Sheep milk samples and sheep milk samples experimentally contaminated with L. monocytogenes, were analysed both by PCR, using specific primers, and mu ltiplex PCR, in order to detect the pathogenic strains. The PCR products we re also analysed with restriction enzyme Hind III in order to establish the serogroup of the tested strains.
