Abstract
We report a case of cellulitis due to Trichophyron verrucosum. The patient was a farmer. The course was rapid and required surgical treatment only thr ee days after institution of oral therapy. This observation demonstrates th e importance of recognizing sycosis in exposed patients and to check the va lidity of biological diagnosis.
