Ll. Fedorina et al., CATALYTIC ACTIVITY OF RHODIUM SOLUTIONS IN OXIDATION REACTIONS OF AZODYES WITH SODIUM PERIODATE, Journal of analytical chemistry, 52(8), 1997, pp. 773-776
The catalytic activity of rhodium solutions in oxidation reactions of
Methyl Orange and Sulfarsazene with periodate was studied. For obtaini
ng catalytically active solutions stable for 10-15 days, it was propos
ed to treat samples with a mixture of concentrated perchloric acid and
sodium periodate with evaporation to wet salts. The composition of re
sulting rhodium solutions was suggested on the basis of their electron
ic absorption spectra.
