Abstract
In this paper, we employ some new techniques to study the existence of posi tive periodic solutions of the neutral delay model N ' (t) = N(t)[a(t) - beta (t)N(t) - b(t)N(t - tau (t)) - c(t)N ' (t - tau (t))]. Our result gives a correct answer to the open problem 9.2 due to Y. Kuang ( 1993, "Delay Differential Equations with Applications in Population Dynamic s," Academic Press, New York).
