Numerical method of determining the characteristics of the spectral sensitivity of television image receivers

A new method of determining the characteristics of the spectral sensitivity S(lambda) of television image receivers is proposed. The method is hosed o n approximating the spectral sensitivity by a previously known function wit h unknown parameters. Using a set of wide-beam filters, the response of a t elevision image receiver to the action of radiation from a source with know n spectral distribution is measured. From the results obtained, the approxi mation coefficients are found and the required function S(lambda) is recove red.
