Ch. Ho, A practical and inexpensive design for measuring the radiation patterns and luminescent spectra of optoelectronic devices, REV SCI INS, 72(7), 2001, pp. 3103-3107
Design and implementation of an inexpensive system capable of swift mapping
of the radiation patterns and luminescent spectra of optoelectronic device
s are presented. The spectrometer is programmed and monitored by a personal
computer. Detailed design diagrams of the mechanical structure and electro
nic hardware of the instrument are described. Measurements of some selectiv
e light emitting diode and laser diode optoelectronic components are presen
ted and the experimental analysis demonstrated the intended functions of th
e system. (C) 2001 American Institute of Physics.
