The Mayo Clinic approach to the surgical treatment of adenocarcinoma of the pancreas

This article presents the authors' current approaches to the management of patients harboring carcinoma of the pancreas, with emphasis on clinical and surgical interpretations. For those areas of diagnosis and therapy that ar e controversial, the authors endeavor to provide support and rationale for their biases.
