Abstract
With a tight binding model, the electronic optical properties of diblock co polymers were studied. It was found that the Light-emitting wavelength depe nded on the nature and ratio of the homopolymers. The results were consiste nt with experiments and quantum chemical calculations, which guided the sel ection of suitable emitting light (EL) materials. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
