Abstract
An electromagnetic centimeter-wave quasi-optical two-mirror open resonator is studied. The eigenfrequency spectrum of the resonator is determined and the Q factor is measured. The structure of a standing wave in the resonator is visualized by an electrodeless microwave discharge. The experimental re sults are compared with theoretical values.
