We present the model of interaction between the electrons inside a ferromag
netic-normal metal-ferromagnetic trilayer sample and the high intensity sho
rt pulse laser light. The incident electromagnetic field of laser on sample
surface perturbs the Boltzmann distribution function determined by the ele
ctron-electron and electron-photon collision terms. The numerical results c
onfirm that the laser pulse can influence significantly on the electron dis
tribution function and as a consequence, the giant magnetoresistance. (C) 2
