S. Benck et al., Experimental cross sections for light-charged particle production induced by neutrons with energies between 25 and 65 MeV incident on aluminum, ATOM DATA N, 78(1), 2001, pp. 161-181
Experimental double-differential cross sections (d(2)sigma /d Omega dE) for
fast neutron-induced proton, deuteron, triton, and alpha-particle producti
on on aluminum are reported, at several incident neutron energies between 2
5 and 65 MeV, for outgoing particle energies above the experimental energy
thresholds. Angular distributions were measured at laboratory angles betwee
n 20 degrees and 160 degrees. Reliable extrapolated spectra are derived for
very forward (2.5 degrees and 10 degrees) and very backward angles (170 de
grees and 177.5 degrees). Based on these experimental data, energy-differen
tial (d sigma /dE), angle-differential (d sigma /d Omega), and total produc
tion cross sections (sigma (T)) are reported for each outgoing particle. (C
