Abstract
The process of bubble separation of substances using large gas bubbles tota lly closing the cross section of the column was investigated. The use of su ch bubbles decreases the longitudinal mixing of the solution and drasticall y increases the separation efficiency. A mathematical model was proposed fo r describing this process in the batch and continuous operation conditions. The model was tested experimentally.
