Abstract
This paper is concerned with a delay difference system 2x(n) - x(n-1) = f(y(n-k)), n is an element of N, (*) 2y(n) - y(n-1) = f(x(n-k)), where k is a positive integer, and f is a signal transmission function of M cCulloch-Pitts type. The difference system (*) can be regarded as the discr ete analog of the artifical neural network of two neurons with McCulloch-Pi tts nonlinearity. Some interesting results are obtained for the asymptotic behavior of the system (*). (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reser ved.
