Abstract
Puromycin-sensitive aminopeptidase is a predominantly cytoplasmatic zinc-de pendent exopeptidase. Its physiological function is not known to date. Here we report data on tissue distribution, a polymorphism within the coding re gion and the complete 3' UTR. The gene (NPEPPS alias PSA) was physically ma pped to chromosome 17q21.2 --> q21.32 using fluorescence in situ hybridizat ion. Copyright (C) 2001 S. Karger AG, Basel.
